What a beautiful day the Lord gave us for our June 2nd tournament out of Kentucky Dam Marina. We had some very welcomed unseasonably cool temps to start the morning. We started the day as always with prayer and devotion. Today we talked about spiritual contentment. We are all very blessed in life no matter what your situation is. And the bible tells us that God’s grace is sufficient.
We had a great turnout of 15 boats. Six limits in all and 4 boats with 4 fish. Pretty good day. But none was better than the father and son team of Shane and Tyler Stevenson. They brought in a five fish limit that weighed 23lbs. 1 oz. I told everyone at the weigh in that I thought that was the biggest wt. of the year. Not only was I correct on that point, but that was the heaviest sack ever in a CAST Tournament. Shane told me they caught all them before 7:30. Way to go guys. In second place with 5 fish at 13-14 was Brad Flowers and Rod Buffington. In third with 5 fish at 13-7 was Mike and Angie Parmer. And in 4th place with 5 fish at 13-3 was Andy and Delbert Powers. Our next event is in 3 weeks which is our first ever river tournament. We will meet at the foot of Broadway in Paducah at. Devotion will start at 4:50.
